Our very first restaurant opened in the affluent suburb of Chapel Allerton, Leeds, in 2002. As the group has expanded, the brand has remained firmly in the local and national press, and prestigious food guides, including the Sunday Times Food List, Harden’s Food Guide, and the Good Food Guide.

The menu is imaginative and authentic, boasting outstandingly high-quality fresh ingredients, imported from Thailand on a weekly basis, whilst the service style is impeccably attentive. Each restaurant is styled to give guests a truly sophisticated, welcoming experience.

In 2026 our flagship Leeds City Centre restaurant has undergone a remarkable transformation, ushering in a new era of refined dining. Guests can now enjoy the intimacy of newly installed booth seating, an atmosphere elevated by thoughtfully designed lighting & artwork, and a stunning new bar area complete with stylish bar seating, all complemented by an entirely reimagined menu. This bold reinvention paves the way for an exciting new chapter of Sukhothai, redefining what guests can expect from us for years to come.
